The Eagles move up a whole one spot to ensure they nab perhaps the most talented player in this class in Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter.

Carter was extremely dominant over the last two seasons with Georgia, standing out in the best defense in college football. During that span, he put up six sacks and was a dominant run defender for the Bulldogs. The stats don’t truly do him justice, as he was a dominant force along the defensive line, consistently disrupting the backfield in both the pass and running game. He was the best player on an extremely talented defensive unit, and is one of the best defensive players in the entire class.

With elite power, an elite twitch in the interior, and consistently dominating double teams, the Eagles are going to have the most talented defensive line in the NFL as Carter is paired with last year’s first-round pick in Jordan Davis and All-Pro Fletcher Cox. Carter will be in a rotation right away, and will undoubtedly make a huge impact in Philadelphia.
