The Jets have selected Iowa State edge Will McDonald with the 15th pick of the 2023 NFL Draft.
McDonald was a three-time First-Team All-Big 12 for the Cyclones with 34 career sacks at Iowa State. He adds to a pass-rush group that includes Carl Lawson, Jermaine Johnson, Micheal Clemons, Bryce Huff and John Franklin-Myers.
The Jets had to pivot a bit after Paris Johnson Jr., Darnell Wright, Peter Skoronski and Broderick Jones were all taken before the Jets got on the clock at No. 15. Still, McDonald adds plenty of juice to the edge group for the Jets.
