Myles Garrett has continuously given back to the community since joining the Cleveland Browns. He is a unique individual who loves to be himself when it comes to his hobbies and interests off the field. Browns’ reporter Camryn Justice released a story highlighting a special visit Garrett paid a high school student after hearing about their shared interest in spoken word poetry.
“Spoken word is a difficult thing to do, to project yourself, your voice and your message and in a positive way, so to do it with such confidence as he did, it’s very inspiring,” Garrett said.
Garrett has made it a habit off the field to visit local schools and encourage students to chase their dreams and passions. It’s another example of the star player using his platform to encourage students in the area to work hard and achieve their goals.
