The Carolina Panthers are still removing the final remnants of a failed regime.
On Tuesday, players pulled into Bank of America Stadium for the start of voluntary minicamp—which’ll run up to Thursday. But they, like Will Kunkel of FOX Charlotte’s Charlotte Sports Live, may have noticed something a bit different when they did . . .

Matt Rhule, of course, was fired by the team back on Oct. 10—slamming the door on a tumultuous and overwhelmingly unsuccessful three-year run. The Panthers, who signed Rhule to a massive seven-year, $62 million deal in 2020, went 11-27 under his watch.
During that time, Rhule attempted to establish quite a culture within the organization—reportedly having final say over anything from roster decisions to player media appearances. So, this whole assigned parking spots deal seemed to be on par with the rest of his vision.
Rhule is now parked in at the University of Nebraska, where he was hired as their program leader in November. There is no word on if the cornfields have any particular designations just yet.
