The Los Angeles Lakers are firmly in control of their first-round playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies after scratching and clawing their way to a 117-111 overtime win in Game 4.
They did so the hard way. They blew a 15-point second-quarter lead and had to endure a second-half slugfest. But they came up with plenty of hustle plays and hard-earned baskets down the stretch to overcome a 97-90 deficit with five minutes left in the fourth quarter.
This was a team win. LeBron James scored 22 points and gobbled up 20 rebounds. Austin Reaves had 23 points, D’Angelo Russell tossed in 17 and forward Jarred Vanderbilt had an impressive 15 points.
Fans on Twitter were very impressed with the Lakers’ big win.
