No. 20 Tennessee (24-14, 6-10 SEC) defeated No. 4 Vanderbilt (29-9, 13-3 SEC), 17-1 in seven innings, Saturday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Chase Dollander (5-4) pitched seven innings for the Vols, recording nine strikeouts. He totaled 105 pitches (69 strikes) against the Commodores.

Saturday’s victory clinched a series win for Tennessee.

Tennessee defeated Vanderbilt, 4-3 in 12 innings, in the series opener on Friday. Sunday’s series finale will take place at 1 p.m. EDT and will be televised by ESPN2.

The Vols have won six consecutive games versus Vanderbilt.
