RB Bijan Robinson says Bucs one of just two teams he’s visited in person

Could the Bucs take a running back in Round 1?

Pre-draft visits have been rampant with the draft soon approaching, and numerous players have flown all around the country on visits. RB Bijan Robinson has made his visits, too, but not as many as one might think.

Robinson was a guest on the Dan Patrick Show on Thursday, and he was asked how many teams he had visited in person. He said, so far, there were only two — The Philadelphia Eagles (who have the No. 10 pick) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Robinson mentioned that he’d met with other teams over zoom, but those are the only teams he has flown out to see.

With that confirmation, it seems the Bucs have brought in both Texas running backs for a visit. While RB is far down the list of Tampa Bay’s needs, it seems as if Jason Licht and his team are doing plenty of due diligence on the running back position and on Robinson in particular, who is considered the top running back prospect in the draft.
