UNC basketball set to host Harrison Ingram

The UNC basketball program will host transfer portal target Harrison Ingram for a visit this week.

The North Carolina Tar Heels will have the chance to impress a big-time transfer portal target before his decision.  And it may come at the right time.

After an in-home visit last weekend with the Tar Heels, wing Harrison Ingram is set to be on North Carolina’s campus Wednesday evening per Inside Carolina.

The visit comes after he rescheduled his visit to Kansas from Monday to next week. While Ingram has received a lot of interest from programs, this recruitment appears to be a two-team race between the Tar Heels and Jayhawks barring any changes.

Ingram is a former five-star recruit that picked Stanford in his recruitment over North Carolina and other teams. In two seasons at Stanford, Ingram averaged 10.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. He was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year for his play.

With a need at the wing for the upcoming season, Ingram would certainly fill that need and give the Tar Heels some much-needed help on the perimeter.
