Aylin Breeland could significantly improve the next USC football recruiting class. The 2024 four-star defensive lineman out of Santa Ana, California (Mater Dei High School), is a big-time target for the USC Trojans. They are trying to land him this offseason.
Per the 247Sports Composite, Breeland is the No. 83 overall prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, the No. 8 D-lineman in the country, and the No. 10 player in California.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound defensive lineman currently holds offers from Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Kansas, Miami, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Stanford, Oregon, Texas A&M, USC, and several others.
Aydin Breland was selected as a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American after the 2021 season.
After his junior season, he was selected third-team All-California by CalHiSports.com.
If one was to identify a position group where USC needs more depth and reinforcements, the defensive line remains the number one choice. This doesn’t mean USC can’t use more bodies and more help on the offensive line or in the secondary, but the defensive line is comparatively more urgent.
