McKenna Gibson recorded an RBI with a sacrifice fly and Zaida Puni hit a home run in the first inning.
Gibson and Mackenzie Donihoo also hit home runs for Tennessee in the contest.
The Lady Vols scored two unearned runs off three Kennesaw State errors. Jamison Brockenbrough also stole home in the contest.
Ryleigh White (3-0) started and earned the win for Tennessee. She pitched five innings and allowed two runs (one earned), one hit and one walk, while recording two strikeouts.
Nicola Simpson pitched 0.1 innings, allowing one run, two hits and one walk.
Payton Gotshall pitched 1.2 innings, allowing one walk and recording five strikeouts.
