Penn State offensive lineman announces he will enter transfer portal.

As Penn State’s spring football practices came to a close over the weekend, the next wave of transfer portal activity was set to begin. A day after Penn State’s Blue-White Game, offensive lineman Jimmy Christ announced his intent to enter the transfer portal.

Christ, who announced his intent to transfer via Twitter, will enter the transfer portal with three years of eligibility as a graduate transfer, making him a valuable transfer portal recruiting target for any program looking to add some help on the offensive line.

Christ was a three-star member of Penn State’s Class of 2020 and one of the top 10 players out of the state of Virginia in that recruiting cycle. Prior to his commitment to Penn State, Christ had been committed to Virginia.

Christ made appearances in 10 games for Penn State last season, mostly on special teams. He is the 10th player to enter the transfer portal since the end of the 2022 season, and the first to enter it since the reopening of the transfer window, which went into effect on Saturday and runs through the end of April.
