Before Game 2 between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings, a key piece for the defending champions was listed on the injury report for Tuesday night’s contest.
On Sunday, Poole appeared on the injury report. The Warriors guard was listed as questionable due to a left ankle sprain. Poole appeared to injure his ankle on a tough drive to the bucket against the Kings in Game 1 on Saturday.

During the Warriors’ 126-123 loss on Saturday in Game 2, Poole notched 17 points on 4-of-10 shooting from the field with three assists and a rebound in 22 minutes off the bench.
Poole has yet to miss a game this season. Poole was one of 10 players to play all 82 regular season games this season.
If Poole is unable to play in Game 2, the Warriors will likely lean heavily on Gary Payton II and Donte DiVincenzo in the backcourt alongside Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
The Warriors will meet the Kings in Sacramento again on Monday for Game 2 at 7 p.m. PT.
