2024 3-star RB Brevin Doll commits to the Iowa Hawkeyes

Iowa added another piece to its backfield in the 2024 class! Three-star running back Brevin Doll committed to the Hawkeyes.

It’s been a busy weekend for the Iowa Hawkeyes on the recruiting trail.

First, three-star running back Xavier Williams announced his pledge to Iowa. That represented the eighth commit in the Hawkeyes’ 2024 class.

Now, Iowa has added another piece to its backfield.

Fellow three-star running back Brevin Doll announced his commitment to Iowa today. The 6-foot, 185 pound back is out of Adel-DeSoto-Minburn in Iowa. Doll is already the sixth in-state commit for the Hawkeyes in the 2024 class.

“It has always been a dream of mine to represent my home state as a Hawkeye. I am extremely excited to announce my commitment to the University of Iowa to continue my academic and athletic career. Go Hawks!” Doll wrote in his Twitter announcement.

He chose Iowa over offers from Army, Iowa State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Northern Iowa, Oklahoma State, Princeton, Purdue, and South Dakota.

Per 247Sports, Doll’s first offer was from Army on May 23, 2022. Then, his recruitment really picked up after his junior season and the turn of the calendar year. Dating back to January, Doll picked up nine offers. That includes six Power 5 offers, including the Hawkeyes’ offer on Feb. 20.

On3 ranks Doll as the nation’s No. 37 running back and the No. 3 player from Iowa in the 2024 class. Meanwhile, 247Sports regards Doll as the country’s No. 85 athlete and the No. 7 player from Iowa.

The 247Sports composite rankings have Doll as the No. 538 player nationally, the No. 56 athlete and the No. 6 prospect from Iowa in the 2024 class. In the On3 consensus rankings, Doll checks in as the No. 550 player nationally, the No. 50 running back and the No. 3 player from Iowa.
