Kyler Murray in the house for final Coyotes game

Murray showed up for the Coyotes’ final home game and wore an Arizona Diamondbacks World Series hat.

The Phoenix Coyotes wrapped up their 2022-2023 season on Thursday at home at Mullett Arena. There was a special guest in attendance — Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray.

This isn’t a new thing. He has attended Phoenix Suns games before. In those instances, he has been criticized for the gear he was wearing.

He was certainly repping Arizona well at the game.

He showed up wearing an Arizona Diamondbacks World Series hat.

Check it out. It appears he was having a good time.

How was he received?

There are mixed reviews.

Some said he was booed, which is a weird thing to do for fans, as he is the starting quarterback for a local team.

Others said he was cheered.

However, it is yet another example of unnecessary negativity surrounding Murray, who by all accounts has never done anything to warrant it except for maybe getting hurt.

He has played at a high level on the field. He has done great work in the community. He has never done anything in public to warrant negative responses.

It is definitely a weird thing.
