Michigan State has learned that senior goaltender Pierce Charleson has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. Charleson only played one game this past season, but was once thought to be a rising star in college hockey.
Now, the Spartans have lost Charleson and starting goalie Dylan St. Cyr, putting the pressure on Adam Nightingale to rebuild that position on the roster.
I can confirm that Michigan State G Pierce Charleson is in the transfer portal. Started just one game as a junior, but was once a promising freshman who was absolutely phenomenal in the Big Ten Tournament two years ago.
3.45 GAA and .911 save percentage in 29 appearances.
