Michigan football offers 2025 tight end out of Wisconsin

#Michigan is tight end U! #GoBlue

Michigan football heavily features players at the tight end position, a reality that dates far beyond Jim Harbaugh taking over the reins in 2015.

At the moment, the future of the position looks bright. Colston Loveland is projected to be among the best tight ends in school history. There will be a great deal of untapped talent as Marlin Klein, Deakon Tonielli and Zack Marshall shepherd the position. In 2024, the Wolverines already have Washington-based four-star TE Hogan Hansen pledged.

Though the maize and blue could continue to target 2024 prospects, the program is also turning its attention to 2025, offering a TE out of Green Bay (Wisconsin), James Flanigan, who stands 6 feet, 5 inches and 220 pounds.

Flanigan has offers from Notre Dame and in-state Wisconsin, as well as Missouri. Like many tight ends at the high school level, Flanigan also plays linebacker, but he projects as a TE at the next level, especially given his height. He is not yet ranked by the recruiting services.
