PFF’s Day 2 fit for Cleveland Browns is underwhelming

This would be a bad pick for the Browns.

With the 2023 NFL Draft just a couple of weeks away, PFF has released their day two fits for all 32 teams. For the Cleveland Browns, they chose defensive tackle Siaki Ika which would not be my first choice at all as they choose Baylor defensive tackle Siaki Ika as the ideal fit.

“The Browns just need a space eater in the middle of their defense. They brought in Dalvin Tomlinson to help with that, but considering the state of their run defense in 2022, they could add another. Ika is a 6-foot-3, 335-pounder with a little twitch to his game.”

This would not be a good pick for the team as Ika was not impressive this season. He had a good 2021 but then showed massive regression during a very disappointing 2022 season. You add in the poor athletic testing and the Browns should avoid Ika at all costs, especially in the third round.
