Raiders host Alabama QB Bryce Young on Top 30 pre-draft visit

Bryce Young is the latest draft prospect to make a Top 30 visit to Las Vegas

It remains to be seen if the Raiders will have any of the top quarterbacks available to them at pick number seven or if they would even take whichever QB is still there. But they are making sure they are well prepared for that possibility.

Today they hosted the drafts consensus top QB Bryce Young on a Top 30 free agent visit according to NFL media’s Ian Rapoport.

This is the second reported QB in this draft to make a Top 30 visit to Las Vegas. The first was Kentucky’s Will Levis on Monday. They will also host Florida’s Anthony Richardson on Friday.

That means the last remaining highly rated draft prospect quarterbacks yet to make a Top 30 visit to Las Vegas are Ohio State’s CJ Stroud and Tennesee’s Hendon Hooker. Expect their visits to occur in short order.

Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels has made no secret that he intends on taking a long look at the quarterbacks in this draft in the hopes of landing one. The team signed Jimmy Garoppolo but would like to add a rookie QB either to compete for the starting job or to sit behind Garoppolo until he’s ready to step into a starting role.
