Quarterback Deshaun Watson is hard at work with teammates working out in Texas. However, the Cleveland Browns have received bad news as second-year wide receiver Mike Woods II has torn his Achilles, meaning his season is over before it begins.
Woods had a great training camp before an injury limited his rookie year and he will now miss the 2023 season. Woods II was a sixth round pick that possess long arms and the ability to excel at jump ball and contested catch situations. The team will now look at other young options to fill out the wide receiver ranks possibly through the 2023 NFL Draft as Woods II was a borderline roster cut before the injury.
