The Cleveland Browns were rumored to be interested in another veteran defensive tackle to add to the room. And now they are about to host one of the sturdiest veteran nose tackles as Al Woods looks for a new home in NFL free agency. Woods was released after the Seattle Seahawks signed Dre’Mont Jones.
With the additions of Maurice Hurst and Trysten Hill, two depth pieces who will fight for roster spots this summer, a veteran plug is still needed. Landing the big fish in Woods would be a tremendous addition for the team that ranked dead last against the run in 2022.
