Since early December, the Golden State Warriors have been without a key contributor from their run to the 2022 NBA Finals. 2021-22 All-Star forward Andrew Wiggins last played on Dec. 3 against the Houston Rockets. Wiggins has now been out 21 games due to a personal matter.
With only three games left on the schedule, the Warriors could be getting back their All-Star forward just before the start of a playoff run. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Wiggins is nearing a return to the team and is expected to be back early in the week.

If Wiggins returns during the regular season’s final week, he could be available for the Warriors’ final two games before the playoffs. The Warriors play a pair of road contests to close out the season against the Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers.
Prior to his absence, Wiggins tallied a season-high 36 points on 14-of-19 shooting from the field with eight made triples to go along with five boards, two steals, two assists and a block in Golden State’s blowout win over Houston.
Over 37 games during the 2022-23 season, Wiggins is averaging 17.1 points on 47.3% shooting from the field and 39.6% from beyond the arc to go along with five rebounds and 2.3 assists in 32.2 minutes per game.
