Cristian Pache’s glove delightfully has ‘baseball is fun’ stitched into it

What a wholesome reminder about baseball being an awesome game.

Once a top prospect in the Atlanta Braves’ system, 24-year-old Cristian Pache is still trying to build some momentum in his career. In his first series with a new team, the Philadelphia Phillies, Pache showed how exactly he’s been trying to keep the faith in the big leagues.

A well-timed photo features Pache holding a green-and-gold glove (for his former Oakland Athletics) that has an interesting message stitched into the front. It reads, “baseball is fun.” Which … incredible!

Few things in this sport have likely ever channeled “football is life,” ala Dani Rojas in Ted Lasso, as much as Pache’s glove.

Because he’s not wrong, folks. Baseball is (supposed to be) fun!

Honestly, I’d like to see other players emulate Pache. For example, someone should have a custom bat that reads, “dingers are awesome.” Let’s fully lean into this concept, everyone.
