No. 9 Tennessee (21-8, 4-5 SEC) defeated No. 1 LSU (24-4, 6-3 SEC), 14-7, Saturday at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Saturday’s contest was the series finale between the Vols and Tigers.

The Tigers won the series opener, 5-2, on Thursday.

LSU was victorious, 6-4, Friday in game No. 2 and clinched a series win versus the Vols.
