Dominik Mysterio‘s entrance includes lots of prison imagery, and he’s in handcuffs being led to the ring from a police van by fake police officers. He also briefly wears one of his father’s masks, enraging Michael Cole on commentary.
Not to be outdone, Rey Mysterio is driven to the ring by Snoop Dogg in a low rider, with Eddie Guerrero’s entrance them eventually making way to Rey’s own. This match is also sponsored by Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Dom shoves his father away and flexes, then takes Rey down to the mat. Rey flips his son between the ropes to the floor, and this time he’s not getting pushed without retaliation. Rey snaps off a hurricanrana, and Dom begs off as the crowd cheers.
After whipping Dominik into the second turnbuckle, Rey takes off his belt and starts lashing his son. When Dominik throws a drink on his sister, Rey comes over and walks into an ambush, getting smashed into the ringpost as well.
A springboard senton earns Dominik a near fall, so he stays on the attack and drops his dad in a corner. Dom locks in an abdominal stretch, and he looks in complete control, to the dismay of the fans at SoFi Stadium.
Delighting in beating up his father in front of his mother, Dominik finally goes too far and gets a slap from Angie, who then offers Rey a kiss as he has recovered. A cross body back in the ring gets Rey a two count.
A flipping piledriver out of the corner is good for another near fall for Rey. There’s Damian Priest, right on cue, and Finn Balor as well, coming out of the crowd. Rey takes a huge shot but is able to kick out at two.
The booing picks up as Dom tries for Three Amigos, but Rey counters and hits a 619. He heads up top but Priest and Balor interfere, and Dom is able to knock his father down to the canvas.
Both Mysterios end up out on the floor, but help is finally on the way for Rey in the form of Legado Del Fantasma, or the LWO.
Their arrival has Rey and Dom ready to settle things among themselves, with Dominik hitting his dad with his own 619. A frog splash finds the target but Rey kicks out at two.
Undeterred, Dominik exposes a steel turnbuckle and gets out a steel chain … but is stopped by Bad Bunny. That gives Rey a chance to hit a 619 and a frog splash, and true to his word, he has taken care of business.
