Kansas freshman Gradey Dick on Friday announced on ESPN’s “NBA Today” that he will forgo his remaining college eligibility and enter the 2023 NBA draft.
Dick was named to the All-Big 12 second team after averaging 14.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 steals on 40.3% shooting from 3-point range. He set the Jayhawks record for most 3s in a season by a freshman with 83.
He was also named to the All-Big 12 Newcomer Team.

Dick is widely considered to be a lottery pick in the draft this year given his overall ability on both ends of the court. He still has plenty of room to grow and has all of the tools in place to develop into a 3-and-D player at the next level.
Underclassmen have until April 23 to declare for the draft.
