Texas A&M’s Buzz Williams selected to coach NABC – Reese’s Division I All-Star Game

The accolades continue to pile up, and rightfully so, for Buzz Williams after being named coach for the NABC Reese’s D1 All-Star Game.

The accolades continue to pour in, and rightfully so, for Texas A&M Men’s Basketball coach Buzz Williams.

After coming off back-to-back SEC title game appearances and leading A&M to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2018, Williams was selected as one of the coaches for the NABC – Reese’s Division I All-Star Game. Tobin Anderson, who was recently hired as coach of the Ioana Gaels, was named as the other selection for the All-Star Game.

The NABC–Reese’s College All-Star Games feature the top senior student-athletes from NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III. Each game takes place at the respective location of each division’s national championship, with teams coached by active NABC members.

This marks the latest honor for Williams who led the Maroon and White to a 25-10 overall record this season, including a 15-3 record in SEC play. In addition to being named coach for the NABC All-Star Game, Williams was awarded the Associated Press SEC Coach of the Year as well as Co-SEC Coach of the Year.

The D1 All-Star Game takes place on Friday, March 31 at 3:30 p.m. CT at NRG Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.
