Ravens add EDGE depth in latest 2023 NFL mock draft by The Draft Network

The Ravens added pass rushing depth in the latest 2023 NFL mock draft by The Draft Network

The Baltimore Ravens have plenty of needs as the 2023 NFL offseason continues. The most glaring roster holes that the team must fill come at wide receiver and cornerback, but quarterback could shoot up on the list depending on what happens with their current signal caller in Lamar Jackson

In his latest 2023 NFL mock draft, Brentley Weissman of The Draft Network has Baltimore selecting against their draft needs by adding an edge player to their roster in Iowa EDGE Lukas Van Ness. Weissman discussed how the team could go in many different directions, but an edge defender makes sense due to the loss of fellow defensive lineman Calais Campbell.

“The Ravens could go in many different directions here, but in the end, adding another versatile edge defender makes a ton of sense—especially as the team moved on from Calais Campbell. Lukas Van Ness is an explosive athlete with excellent power at the point of attack. His best football is ahead of him.”
