Bears land offensive help for Justin Fields in Daniel Jeremiah’s new mock draft

The Bears get some offensive line help for Justin Fields in Daniel Jeremiah’s latest mock draft.

The Chicago Bears traded the No. 1 pick to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for two first-rounders, two second-rounders and wide receiver DJ Moore.

One of those first-round picks is the Panthers’ No. 9 selection, which still puts Bears general manager Ryan Poles is a prime position to land a top talent inside the top 10.

Following the first wave of free agency, Chicago still has needs along the defensive and offensive lines, and you figure their first selections will address those needs.

NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah released his latest mock draft, where he had the Bears landing some offensive help for quarterback Justin Fields with Northwestern offensive lineman Peter Skoronski at ninth overall.

I love this pick for the Bears. Skoronski would be an immediate upgrade at right tackle for Justin Fields.

Unless defensive tackle Jalen Carter falls to Chicago, it feels like that No. 9 pick could be an offensive tackle, especially given the glaring hole at right tackle.
