NEW YORK — Brooklyn Nets forward Mikal Bridges has been one of the key players that Brooklyn depends on in order to win games. He is usually the guy that the Nets try to get going on the offensive end to open up other options within the offense, like Spencer Dinwiddie’s drive-and-kick game. However, Brooklyn’s offense comes and goes in waves and lately, the offense has not been there.
“Just gotta keep shooting them,” Bridges said after scoring 18 points in Tuesday’s 115-109 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Brooklyn shot 44.6% from the field, but shot just 27.3% from three-point land. “You know, it’s part of life. You miss some, just gotta keep shooting them,” Bridges explained. The Nets offense looked its best in the first and fourth quarters when they were able to force turnovers and get out in transition.
