Here’s who will represent the Panthers at QB pro days

The Panthers will be sending quite the pro-day contingent to take some closer looks at this year’s top QB prospects.

It’s just about time for the Carolina Panthers to hit the road in their next step towards finding a franchise quarterback. So, who will be making the trips?

On Tuesday, Darin Gantt of Panthers.com noted that the team will be sending a who’s who of decision makers to the upcoming pro days of the 2023 NFL draft’s top quarterbacks. Those individuals, who will also presumably be joined by assistants and/or scouts, are as follows:

  • General manager Scott Fitterer
  • Assistant general manager Dan Morgan
  • Vice president of football administration Samir Suleiman
  • Head coach Frank Reich
  • Offensive coordinator Thomas Brown
  • Quarterbacks coach Josh McCown
  • Senior assistant Jim Caldwell

The stops begin on Wednesday—in Columbus, Ohio for Ohio State University star C.J. Stroud. Stroud has recently been listed as the odds-on favorite, by multiple sports books, to be selected by the Panthers with this year’s No. 1 overall pick.

Their travels will continue into Thursday for Alabama’s Bryce Young, Friday for Kentucky’s Will Levis and next Thursday for Florida’s Anthony Richardson.
