Jordan Spieth was so lucky on Friday.
The golfer teed up on No. 9 at the Players Championship when his shot went very, very right. It was headed toward the water, was definitely going to be trouble and — if it plopped — it might have even gotten him cut.
Instead, the ball hit a fan who was watching … and ricocheted on to the fairway. The fan appeared to be OK, and what’s wild about all this — SPIETH MADE EAGLE ON THE HOLE.
If you’re thinking, that’s SO Spieth, I’m right there with you. Wild stuff. Check out the video and some reaction to it:
Jordan Spieth's shot was headed for the water, but deflected off of a fan right to the middle of the fairway 😯 ⛳️

If you ever need to explain to someone the Jordan Spieth Experience, show them this screenshot and tell them he made eagle. pic.twitter.com/JEor0h9Nzc
