Four-star athlete LaMason Waller expected to visit Colorado again in coming months

Four-star athlete LaMason Waller, who was in Boulder for Colorado’s Elite Underclassmen Weekend, is expected to visit again in the coming months

The list of recruits set to visit Colorado is growing by the day.

Just a few of the names expected to check out head coach Deion Sanders is building include five-star EDGE Dylan Stewart, athlete Tevis Metcalf and four-star Flordia State commit Kam Davis.

Another prospect to add to that list is LaMason Waller, a four-star class of 2025 athlete who announced via Twitter a list of eight schools he plans on checking out over the next few months: UCLA, Arkansas, Michigan State, Syracuse, Oregon, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma and Colorado.

Waller’s upcoming visit with the Buffs will be his second. He was also in Boulder for the program’s Elite Underclassmen Weekend in late January.

Here’s what Waller told BuffStampede’s Adam Munsterteiger regarding his most recent visit (subscription required):

“Colorado made a huge impression on me,” Waller said. “I got to sit and chop it up with Coach Deion (Sanders) for about an hour, talk some ball. So Colorado definitely stood out to me. Coach Deion talked to me about my game and what I can improve on. We got to talk high school ball and everything, so I enjoyed that. I went out to Colorado when the former staff was there so it was good to go back out and see the change. What stood out to me is just how bought in this new staff is and how everybody is trying to win and build something special there.

The Hesperia, California recruit is ranked as the No. 99 overall class of 2025 prospect and the No. 9 athlete, per 247Sports.
