The Indianapolis Colts announced their full 2023 coaching staff under new head coach Shane Steichen on Tuesday.
While the team will see the return of defensive coordinator Gus Bradley and the rest of the defensive staff from the 2022 season, the Colts hired Notre Dame’s Brian Mason as the special teams coordinator to replace Bubba Ventrone, who took a promotion with the Cleveland Browns.
The Colts also announced new additions to the offensive coaching staff, most of which had been previously reported. One that wasn’t reported was the hiring of TJ Ingles as the assistant to the head coach.
The new additions on the offensive coaching staff are as follows:
- Jim Bob Cooter, offensive coordinator
- Cam Turner, quarterbacks
- DeAndre Smith, running backs
- Tom Manning, tight ends
- Tony Sparano Jr., offensive line
- Chris Watt, assistant offensive line
The returning coaches on the offensive side of the ball include Reggie Wayne as wide receivers coach and Brian Bratton as offensive quality control/wide receivers coach.
