When the Pittsburgh Steelers go on the clock in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft, offensive tackle has to be a strong consideration. There is a great deal of debate about how this offensive tackle class will play out aside from Ohio State’s Paris Johnson Jr. being the first OT off the board.
One offensive tackle who makes a strong case to be the second player at the position off the board and a definite target of the Steelers is Northwestern’s Peter Skoronski.
Skoronski spoke at the NFL Scouting Combine and noted he met with the Steelers on Thursday and really liked head coach Mike Tomlin. Skoronski is exactly what the Steelers need as a replacement for Dan Moore Jr. Skornski is one of the most athletic tackle prospects in the draft and shows elite technique in pass sets. He plays with maturity beyond his age and is a natural leader on the offensive line.
Let us know in the comments if you would be good with the Steelers taking Skoronski in the first round.
