As the high school season winds down, key UNC basketball targets are putting together significant performances.
One of those was from a key target in 2024 five-star forward [autotag]Jarin Stevenson[/autotag]. Stevenson posted his second triple-double of the season over the weekend. He had 18 points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocks.
It was in the first round of the 2A postseason playoffs for Seaforth (NC) High School.
The 6-foot-10 Stevenson is ranked as the No. 10 overall prospect in the 2024 class in the 247Sports rankings. He is also rated as the top overall prospect in North Carolina and the No. 2 overall power forward.

UNC has been one of the main programs involved in Stevenson’s recruitment for the entire part of the process.
There has always been a connection to the program as his mom played basketball at North Carolina.
Despite having four commitments in the class already, the Tar Heels are remaining very active in trying to land Stevenson. The entire UNC basketball staff was recently at one of his games, showing that they are keeping him as a top priority.
Recently, Stevenson said he is looking to make a decision in his recruitment by the ‘end of the summer’.
The Tar Heels currently hold the top ranked recruiting class in the 2024 team rankings.
