Tennessee men’s golfer Evan Woosley-Reed earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors.
He received the honor Wednesday after making his second career appearance for the Vols.
Woosley-Reed finished tied for eighth as Tennessee played its first tournament of the spring semester in the Puerto Rico Classic.
A native of Shelbyville, Tennessee, Woosley-Reed recorded two under-par rounds, finishing the event -8. He was -6 in the third round with a score of 66.
Woosley-Reed recorded 12 birdies in the tournament.
Woosley-Reed is the third Tennessee golfer to win a weekly honor during the 2022-23 season.
Bryce Lewis and Caleb Surratt were both named SEC Golfer of the Week during the fall portion of the season.
