Full patch notes for Apex Legends Season 16 Revelry

Apex Legends Season 16 came with quite a few changes. Here are the full patch notes.

Apex Legends Season 16 Revelry is here, and even though it doesn’t shake up the game to its core with a new map or new legends, the patch makes quite a few substantial changes we need to go over. Now that the update has had a few days to soak in, let’s do a deep dive into all major changes and the full patch notes.

All legends are now reorganized into five new classes, and there are new passive class perks attached to each role. The five new classes are Assault, Skirmisher, Recon, Support, and Controller.

The new season also adds a Team Deathmatch limited-time mode which pits two teams of six against each other. Each team’s goal is to be the first to get 50 kills. Team Deathmatch will stay as an LTM in the game for the first three weeks, until March 7.

The new Mixtape playlist will bring back popular limited-time modes on permanent rotation, and once Team Deathmatch’s original run as an LTM is over, it will be included in Mixtape.

Season 16 also added a new weapon, The Nemesis, an assault rifle that uses energy ammo, fires four rounds per burst, and is set to compete with Flatline and R-301, as the latter is also getting nerfed.

The start of the new season also features the Anniversary Collection Event, marking Apex Legends‘ fourth birthday with two weeks of login rewards.

The ongoing first week unlocked Crypto as a playable legend and is bringing one Crypto Thematic pack to everyone who logs into the game until Feb. 21.

Week two starts on Feb. 21, and will unlock Ash together with one Ash Thematic pack for every player who logs in till Feb. 28.

The new season also brought Firing Range updates, adding new customization options and a handful of quality-of-life improvements, with more waves of updates coming soon, based on usage of the current features.

Newcomers to the game can now try Orientation Matches to ease their way into Apex Legends’ core mechanics and move to regular matchmaking in no time.

These are the main changes that came with the new season. Now, let’s take a detailed look at the full patch notes for Apex Legends Season 16.
