Tennessee offered a scholarship to four-star defensive lineman Amare Adams on Feb. 1.
“Blessings keep coming, thankful that the University of Tennessee offered me,” Adams announced on social media.
The 6-foot-6, 285-pound defensive lineman is from Lake City High School in Lake City, South Carolina.
Adams is the No. 46 overall prospect in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 6 defensive lineman and the No. 1 player in the state of South Carolina, according to 247Sports.
As a sophomore in 2022, Adams finished the season with 67 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss and four sacks. He earned first-team 3A All-State and first-team All-Regions honors.
Adams holds multiple other Power Five offers, including, Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio State and Florida State.
