Best photos from Auburn’s close loss at Texas A&M

Auburn was unable to over come Texas A&M’s frequent and successful trips to the free throw line Tuesday night.

The Auburn Tigers came close to avenging last month’s loss to the Texas A&M Aggies but were unable to pull out the win, falling 83-78 Tuesday night at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.

Auburn’s offense made 46.9% of its shots and four Tigers scored in double-figures but they could not overcome the Aggie’s 39 free throws. Auburn was called for 27 personal fouls and Texas A&M was called for just 17. The discrepancy fired up the Auburn fans who did not hold back their feeling about the officials.

While the failure to earn a quality win stings, the Tigers will need to get ready for a big game Saturday, when they host No. 3 Alabama in Neville Arena.

But before then here is a look at the top photos from Auburn’s second loss of the season to Texas A&M.
