Last Wednesday morning, Tom Brady posted a selfie video, sitting on the beach.
“I’m retiring, for good,” he said.
After last year’s retirement lasted a whole 40 days, anyone who doubted the finality of Brady’s statement this time around can’t be blamed.
Nearly a week later, the GOAT sounds like he’s at peace with his decision this time around.
Appearing on “The Herd” with Colin Cowherd, Brady said Monday that he won’t be joining Fox Sports until the fall of 2024. He also discussed his decision to retire, and what lies ahead after an unmatchable 23-year career in the NFL (via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times):
