Bears quarterback Justin Fields established himself as one of the NFL’s most electrifying players in last season’s dismal 3-14 run. That was due to his elite speed and athleticism that made him a highlight reel and earned praise from around the league.
Offensive coordinator Luke Getsy was a big reason for the offense’s turnaround after Week 6, where he utilized more designed quarterback runs that helped open up Fields in the run game and changed the entire trajectory of the offense.
During Saturday’s Senior Bowl game, there was a hilarious exchange between Getsy, who served as the head coach of the American team, and a sideline reporter involving Fields.
Interviewer: “Which of them moves like Justin Fields?”
Getsy: *literally laughs out loud* “No one moves like that guy. That’s a bad comparison.”

To be fair, it’s the appropriate response considering there’s only one other quarterback currently in the league (Lamar Jackson) who’s had the kind of impact as a runner that Fields had last year.
Last season, Fields rushed for 1,143 yards, falling just 64 yards shy of Jackson’s single-season record. Fields also set a record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a regular season game with 178 against the Dolphins (and his cleats are currently sitting in the Pro Football Hall of Fame). He rushed for 60 yards in nine games and even eclipsed 100 rushing yards three times.
Simply put, there’s only one Justin Fields.
