Recently, 2024 athlete Jalewis Solomon listed the USC Trojans as a finalist in his recruitment. The Trojans were one of 11 schools to make the cut for Solomon.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Solomon is rated the No. 181 overall prospect and the No. 11 athlete via the 247Sports Composite. He is the No. 49 athlete and a three-star prospect in the 247Sports rankings. He is projected to play safety or wideout at the next level.
Solomon helped Schley County (Georgia) High School to a 12-3 record this past fall, recording 29 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, three interceptions and four passes defended in 14 games. He also led his team with 86 receptions for 1,210 yards and 10 receiving scores.

If USC can get Solomon into the program, one would think that with the Trojans being so loaded at the receiver position, Lincoln Riley and Alex Grinch would want him to play safety and shore up the secondary when the Trojans move into the Big Ten Conference.
Solomon’s top schools:
- Alabama
- Georgia
- Georgia Tech
- Miami
- South Carolina
- Florida
