It looks like the Oklahoma City Thunder will have at least three participants for the All-Star weekend.
With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander likely being named an All-Star reserve, the Thunder also will be represented by Josh Giddey and Jalen Williams in the Rising Stars game.
The Rising Stars roster was announced on Tuesday; both Giddey and Williams were listed. Neither should be a surprise. Both have been among the better players in their respective draft classes.
In 45 games, Giddey is averaging 16.1 points, eight rebounds and 5.7 assists. In 46 games, Williams is averaging 12.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists.
This is Giddey’s second consecutive Rising Stars bid and Williams’ first. They are the 12th and 13th players in Thunder history to gain a Rising Stars spot.
The Rising Stars competition will be played Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. CT.
