Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd left the team’s AFC title game showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs due to a leg injury.
After halftime, the team officially ruled him questionable to return.
Boyd initially suffered the injury in the first half and tried to walk it off on the sideline before going to the blue medical tent. The team then didn’t provide word on his status during halftime, either.
With Boyd out, the Bengals will turn to names such as Trenton Irwin in the slot and otherwise as they move guys around and try to get things going against a stingy Chiefs defense on the road.
We’ll update with more once the team offers it.
.@KetteringHealth injury update: WR Tyler Boyd has a left thigh injury. His return is questionable.
