Tom Brady still undecided on retirement, return in 2023

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is still weighing his options for the 2023 NFL season, with no timetable for a decision

Last offseason, one of the biggest stories in the NFL world was the future of legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

This offseason, the GOAT is right back in the same place.

After a brief retirement and subsequent comeback last time around, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is taking his time making a decision about whether or not he’ll return for a 24th NFL season, either in Tampa Bay or elsewhere.

On the latest episode of his “Let’s Go!” podcast, Brady was asked by co-host Jim Gray about a potential timetable for his decision, and he was met with a rather colorful response:

So, there you have it.

Brady has a lucrative contract waiting for him at Fox Sports, so retirement would give him a raise, and the prospect of not having to get beat up for another year in the NFL at 46 years old.

As a free agent, Brady would be free to sign with any team in March, or return for a fourth season with the Bucs.

For now, the GOAT is just taking it one day at a time, with no timetable for making a decision on his football future.
