Titans select Quentin Johnston in The 33rd Team’s mock draft

The Titans address a major position of need in The 33rd Team’s latest mock draft.

With the Tennessee Titans out of the playoffs, many are already beginning to shift their focus toward the upcoming offseason.

The NFL Draft, in particular, is always one of the biggest dates on the NFL’s offseason calendar. Now that we’re slowly inching closer to that weekend, mock drafts will surely start to become a popular topic of conversation.

As a matter of fact, the scouting department at The 33rd Team has released what is already their second mock draft of the year, with more sure to come in the coming months.

In this latest variation, the outlet has the Titans addressing one of their biggest needs at No. 11 overall in the 2023 NFL draft with the selection of TCU wide receiver, Quentin Johnston.

Their reasoning for the selection is as follows:

The most talented receiver in this draft falls right into the Titans’ lap, and they get a top-tier receiver to pair with Treylon Burks. Adding first-round receivers in back-to-back drafts should signal a strategy shift as Derrick Henry ages.

It’s safe to say the selection of Johnston would be a welcome addition for a Titans offense that desperately needs an influx of talent at the receiver position.

Johnston finished the last two seasons with 1,703 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 93 receptions.
