Penn State has been active in the transfer portal this offseason in search of help at the wide receiver position. After missing on a couple of potential transfer targets, Penn State seems to have come out in a good situation with the additions of Dante Cephas from Kent State and, more recently, [autotag]Malik McClain[/autotag] from Florida State.
McClain is a former four-star recruit from Florida State’s Class of 2021, and he has already played in 25 games as he makes his way to Happy Valley. McClain is a player that has some room for development, which Penn State’s next wide receivers coach will surely be tasked with maximizing.
The addition of McClain will help give quarterback [autotag]Drew Allar[/autotag] a solid supporting cast in the passing game as Penn State is losing its top two receivers form 2022 in [autotag]Parker Washington[/autotag] and [autotag]Mitchell Tinsley[/autotag].
Here are some of the best photos from McClain’s two seasons in Tallahassee playing for Florida State (and one from his high school days at IMG Academy).
