Garrett Bradbury removed from injury report, will start on Sunday

Bradbury will start for the first time since week 13

The Minnesota Vikings injury report for Sunday afternoon’s game against the New York Giants in the Wild Card round saw some big news as center Garrett Bradbury was removed from the injury report.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell said that Bradbury will start for the first time since the week 13 matchup against the New York Jets.

Also being removed from the injury report was linebacker Brian Asamoah. He missed last week’s game against the Chicago Bears with a knee injury.

Defensive end James Lynch was also removed from the injury report with his shoulder injury that kept him out of the last two regular season games.

The three that remain are cornerback Cameron Dantzler, who didn’t practice all week with both an ankle injury and a personal matter, safety Harrison Smith with a knee injury and all-pro kick returner Kene Nwangwu with the dreaded illness that has kept multiple Vikings out this season.

One thing that we don’t know for sure yet is tackle Blake Brandel. Due to his practice window being activated, we don’t see him on the injury report. The Vikings will have to activate him on Saturday afternoon if he were to play on Sunday.
