The Houston Texans like what they saw from Demone Harris through three games in 2022 and want to keep working with him, even as the club decides on a new coaching staff.
According to Aaron Wilson from KPRC-TV, the Texans agreed to terms with Harris and made it official that he signed a reserve/future contract. Houston previously made their reserve/future contracts known on Tuesday.
Harris logged four combined tackles, a quarterback hit, and a pass breakup through 62 defensive snaps in 2022.
The Texans signed Harris to their practice squad on Nov. 10, 2021. Houston signed Harris to a reserve/future contract at the end of that season after he played and started in a game for them in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
