As the Tennessee Titans look to possibly find their next general manager by poaching someone away from another team, they might have one of their own poached in due time.
According to MMQB’s Albert Breer, the Cleveland Browns are looking to interview Titans senior defensive assistant, Jim Schwartz, who has served in his current role since 2021.
Prior to joining the Titans for a second time, Schwartz was a head coach with the Detroit Lions (2009-13), and a defensive coordinator with the Titans (2001-08), Buffalo Bills (2014) and Philadelphia Eagles (2016-2020).
Schwartz was brought in prior to the 2021 campaign after the Titans had what was an awful season defensively in 2020.
The Browns are scheduling an interview with ex-Lions coach Jim Schwartz for their defensive coordinator opening, per sources. Cleveland's also put in requests to interview Steelers senior ass't Brian Flores and Patriots LBs coach Jerod Mayo for the job.

Since then, the Titans have sported one of the better defenses in the NFL the past two seasons, including a run defense that finished second in 2021 and first in 2022.
We figured it was just a matter of time before someone came calling for Schwartz. Whether or not he actually gets a job remains to be seen.
